A thorough Immigration Psychological Evaluation will provide powerful, objective evidence to strengthen an immigration case by documenting trauma, demonstrating hardship, and establishing credibility. My role is to ensure that the client’s history and the psychological impact underlying it are clearly assessed and accurately documented with both clinical objectivity and an empathic lens. Using this approach, I can provide a nuanced understanding that helps humanize the client’s story for immigration authorities while maintaining professional credibility. I work with youth ages 15+ and adults.

 

Navigating the immigration process can be complex and emotionally challenging for your clients. The client’s safety, privacy, and comfort throughout the process are my priority. Using a trauma-based approach and evidence-based assessment techniques, I have the ability to gather and synthesize detailed information about the client’s history, trauma, and psychological functioning and document how it is relevant to their Immigration case.

I bring years of experience in crisis work, case management, therapy, and evaluations, working with populations that have both experienced trauma and committed crimes. My ongoing professional development includes a trauma-informed care certification, evidence-based interviewing techniques and I have received specialized training in performing Immigration Psychological Evaluations. ​

Once contracted, the evaluation process includes:

• Flexible Payment Options

• Secure, HIPAA-compliant communication and video conferencing through a patient portal.

​

• Two to three hours of evaluation, including:​​

  • Consideration of any legal documents provided by your firm.

  • Extra time for translation during interviews, at no additional cost​.

  • Standardized psychological assessments to objectively diagnosis mental health conditions.

• A copy of the final 10-12 page report within 2-4 weeks of the initial evaluation session*, with an opportunity for your review and edit suggestions to ensure the legal aspects are presently correctly.

• ​Expedited evaluations for an additional fee, when scheduling allows.

​​

If an Interpreter is required, I require a Certified Interpreter to support credibility in the final report, although I am happy to have a non-certified individual assist with a free consultation call. At this time, the Certified Interpreter will need to be secured and paid by the client.
