About Alyssa Semple, LICSW

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts, specializing in Immigration Evaluations, bringing a unique combination of clinical expertise and health & human services experience to my work.

My education includes a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Vermont. I received specialized training in conducting Immigration Psychological Evaluations under the guidance of Georgia King, LICSW, and have furthered my professional development with continuing education in evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed care certification.

 

With over 10 years of experience working with and evaluating youth and adults who have experienced trauma resulting from emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, as well as those involved with the court system. My experience encompasses crisis work, case management, and outpatient care, including court-referred evaluation services in the child welfare, domestic violence,  community correction domains, in addition to general outpatient mental health services.

Beyond my clinical practice, I also have two years of experience in human services research and over 20 years in the health and human services technology sector. This diverse background allows me to approach evaluations with a holistic perspective, combining evidence-based clinical assessment with systems-level insight and operational expertise.
